VIRTUAL COLLEGE PODS

for the Class of 2022

Take the stress out of writing your college essay over the summer or in the fall when classes resume by signing up for a Virtual College Pod!  To allow for more individualized attentions pods are capped at 15 students.

Session Topic: THE COLLEGE ESSAY

Program Description: Student pods take place over a two-week period - July 6 - 15, 2021.

Two (2) meetings take place over two weeks - 2 group sessions that are informative/working sessions with the group as a whole and 2 individual sessions with the student to provide feedback on the list or essay. All sessions are virtual.

Pod Group Meetings: Pods will meet (virtually) 2x as a group and each student will have at least 1 individual meetings (30-45 min - schedule based on student availability). These sessions will focus on working and discussing the pod topic for that month. 

Pod Outcome: At the completion of the two weeks, students will have developed a final draft of their college essay to use with their college applications. The college essay takes the most time to develop and our pods will provide you with the feedback and guidance and on developing a strong college essay for your fall applications. Students must complete all 4 weeks of assigned meetings and work in order to obtain a final draft of their college essay with final feedback and comments at the end of the month.

Cost of the program: $100.00.  A $25.00 deposit (non-refundable) is needed to secure a space. A final bill - along with meeting dates and times - will be sent after deposit is received.
